Submitted by individual clinicians across the country, below are real-world case studies of patients whose false negative Pap results missed cervical disease and cancer - diagnoses captured only after the physician employed the Digene HPV DNA test along w/ the Pap for primary adjunctive screening. The false negative Pap result was confirmed by follow-up colposcopy/histology after the HPV test result was positive for these patients.
